Welcome to Beanz Barn
Where Adventure
Meets Comfort!
Set within a beautifully converted grain store on a small family farm in a quiet village location in Northamptonshire.
Beanz Barn is a forest and treehouse-themed softplay and café designed to spark imagination and bring families together. Inspired by the charm of English woodlands, our space invites children up to the age of 10 to explore, climb, and play in a safe, engaging environment.
Our main playframe is built with active and adventurous play in mind, offering older children a chance to challenge themselves with slides, ladders, swings, nets, and a variety of exciting obstacles. For our youngest visitors, a dedicated under-3s area ensures safe and stimulating play away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger kids.
EXCELLENT Based on 54 reviews Posted on Google Rhiannon LaidlerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From start to finish I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Brian was extremely helpful in booking and organising the whole party, nothing was too much trouble. Amy and her colleagues who were there on the day were all so lovely; checking in with us and keeping an eye on everything. The soft play itself is really well laid out with plenty for the children to do and everything is clean (massive plus). At the end of the party; I had one very happy, tired girl who said she had the “best time, especially on the twirly, whirly slide”. So a big thank you to the team at Beanz; we will be back soon.Posted on Google Sally HughesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went to 3 year old granddaughter birthday party, lovely place with lots of fun activitiesPosted on Google FennTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is one of my kids favourite venues. Everything is thoughtfully laid out for their enjoyment! Cakes from the cafe are excellent and the kids meal deals are proper age appropriate. (Not to mention lovely staff)Posted on Google Beth ByrneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a joint 5th birthday and it was brilliant. The cleanest and most stylish soft play we've been to. Communication was great and it was wonderful to turn up and not have to prep anything. The kids loved it and the buffet party food was a success. It is clearly a family owned business that put a lot of thought and care into providing a lovely experience for kids, but also for the adults (amazing coffee, table service and comfy chairs) thanks for much. We will be back!Posted on Google Frances NealTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had my son's 6th birthday party here and it was great. The team were great on the day and the play barn itself was lovely. Nice and clean and a good size, not too big or noisy like some places. Would definitely recommend and will take my youngest back again.Posted on Google Octavia McGillTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A refreshingly new approach to soft play! We have been several times, once with two children with additional needs (aged 6) and once with two 6 year olds and a 1 year old. Meticulously clean and with muted, natural colours. On a weekday evening it is a lot quieter and perfect for children who need more space and a quieter environment. On weekends even when it is busy, there is plenty of space inside. My son is dairy free and I was impressed with the range of food available for him and the knowledge of the staff when dealing with his allergy. He enjoyed a delicious looking pancake stack. The toilets are fantastically designed with an adult and child one in each toilet, lots of space and very accessible. Plenty of different activities for the children to do and keep busy. We will definitely be visiting again.Posted on Google Neil BlundellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our favourite soft play centre by a long way. Every detail seems to have been carefully considered. With 2 daughters diagnosed with ASD, finding somewhere that everyone can access and enjoy is a rarity. Beanz barn have got this covered. This is as sensory friendly as a soft play centre can be.Posted on Google Louise GreeneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brilliant new softplay, lovely and clean and absolutely excellent play areas. My 6 and 3 year old equally had brilliant times and there is so much to do to keep them entertained. Food and drink is excellent and lovely and peaceful. Fantastic!Posted on Google Alina MarczakTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place for children. Why both parents and children love coming to Beanz Barn
We keep things comfortable, not crowded. By capping numbers, children have space to play confidently and parents can relax knowing sessions won’t feel chaotic. Calm play makes a real difference.
Cleanliness matters, especially when visiting with little ones. We clean throughout the day and between sessions, so Beanz Barn always feels fresh, tidy, and well cared for from the moment you arrive.
Perfect for little ones finding their confidence. Beanz Barn has a separate Under 3’s area designed especially for toddlers, making first soft play visits gentle, calm, and enjoyable.
We’ve thought carefully about the details that make family visits easier, child‑sized toilets and sinks, changing tables with clear views of the play area, and a layout that lets parents keep an eye on play without chasing.
Soft play should be enjoyable for adults too. With comfy seating, air conditioning on warmer days, clear views of the play areas, and great coffee and cakes, Beanz Barn is a place parents enjoy staying.
From warm welcomes to helping hands, our friendly team is always nearby. Whether it’s your first visit or one of many, we focus on making every family feel comfortable and well looked after.

Beanz Barn Soft Play FAQs
Do you take cash on site?
To keep everything safer, faster, and more reliable, we only take card payments and digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
We don’t accept cash on site.
This is primarily for insurance and security reasons: keeping cash on the premises increases risk and complicates our compliance obligations. It also creates logistical challenges; storing and transporting cash securely, holding change, reconciling takings, and making bank deposits all slow things down and take our team away from serving guests.
What age group is Beanz Barn suitable for?
Our soft play is designed for children aged 0–10. We have a dedicated under-3s area for toddlers and babies, and a larger playframe with more adventurous features for older children.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins are welcome though if you choose not to book ahead.  Book online HERE
How long can we stay and play?
All play sessions last 2hrs.
Â
Is the play area supervised?
Our team is always on hand to ensure safety and cleanliness, but parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
Â
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothing. Â Socks are mandatory. Â For safety reasons, shoes must be removed before entering the play areas, and loose jewellery or accessories should be removed.
Â
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside Beanz Barn. We kindly ask all guests to enjoy the delicious offerings from our on-site café, which includes a variety of child-friendly meals, snacks, and drinks, as well as barista coffees and sweet treats for grown-ups. This helps us maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Â
Is Beanz Barn accessible for children with additional needs?
Yes, Beanz Barn is designed to be as inclusive and accessible as possible. We offer level access and egress throughout the site, along with designated accessible parking close to the entrance. There are engaging play elements available on the ground floor, allowing children with varying needs to enjoy the space.
However, due to the nature of soft play structures, some areas of the play frame may not be suitable or accessible for all children. If you have specific requirements or questions, we encourage you to get in touch ahead of your visit so we can support your family’s experience.
Do you host birthday parties?
Absolutely! We offer a private party room and a second bookable open space. Our party packages include playtime, food, and optional extras to make your celebration extra special.
Is there parking available?
Yes, we offer free private parking on site for all our guests.
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes, our spacious bathrooms include baby changing stations located within sight of the main play area for added convenience.
